Overview
Be a part of history witnessing the first 707 Operations Standard Gauge Passenger Train to Mildura as the Vinelander proudly returns to the Sunraysia, on this six-day not-to-be-missed Slow Rail Journey.
Maryborough residents and visitors are invited to view the Vinelander at Maryborough.
- The Vinelander arrives at Maryborough Railway Station Thursday 6th June at 3.20pm for an overnight stay.
- View the Vinelander depart on Friday 7th June at 8.15am as it ventures on tour to Mildura, stopping along the way at regional towns, landmarks and dining experiences.
- The Vinelander returns to Maryborough Railway Station Monday 10th June at 5.30pm and docks overnight.
- The Vinelander departs Maryborough Railway Station Tuesday 11th June at 9.30am for return trip to Southern Cross.
Members of the public are permitted to view the service but are reminded to stay behind the yellow line at all times, and not to board the train.
