Overview
The Central Goldfields Art Gallery present the fabulous collection of new drawings by renowned artist, Tiffany Titshall (inspired by the biyal).
Many of her works are tree portraits as distinguished from landscapes.
In this series she has been interested in the biomorphic patterns created by long-dead trees.
Mirroring some images creates potentially reversible scenes.
Biyal in Dja Dja Wurrung language is the name for the local River Red Gum.
This exhibition commences on Thursday 2 November and concludes Sunday 4 February 2024, at the Central Goldfields Art Gallery.
