Central Goldfields Art Gallery permanent collection
Arthur Boyd, Dean Bowen, Robert Bridgewater, Ray Crooke,
Renee Gray, Jeff Makin, Tiffany Titshall and more.
Central Goldfields Art Gallery acquires works of excellence that
relate to the Central Goldfields region and contemporary art quilts.
In the Salon Style Exhibition, the breadth of the Central Goldfields
Art Gallery’s permanent collection is celebrated. The salon hang
is a term that originated in 1667 at the Royal Academy in Paris,
in which paintings were densely hung on the wall. Expect to see
some of the works from the collection that you may not have
seen for a long time!
In 2021 Central Goldfields Art Gallery will be digitising the
permanent collection, ensuring the public can easily access our
growing collection online.
