Sunday 7th July 2024 will mark 150 years since the first rail service commenced from Melbourne to the Maryborough Railway Station.
Step back in time and join the celebrations at the Station when Central Goldfields Visitor Centre hosts a program of fun and fascinating activities for all ages.
The local community, history buffs and visitors are invited to come along and enjoy the program. There will be touches of nostalgia, displays, tours and entertainment including free activities for all. Dress to the theme if you choose - perhaps it’s time to bring out that vintage hat or outfit, or just come as you are - all are welcome!
