Overview
Maryborough will be put on the national map, when pipe bands from across the country and internationally will travel to our town.
The previous scheduled 2020 event (cancelled due to Covid), would have been a symbolic one, marking the 60th Championships in the town where the inaugural Australian Pipe Band Championships were held back in 1961.
This rescheduled event the 62nd Championships, promises to attract the best pipe bands from around Australia and internationally.
Located at Princes Park, one of Victoria's oldest recreation reserves, with picturesque views and a magnificent grandstand built in 1895.
From the heritage grandstand you can catch all the action on the oval or in the hospitality tent.
