Maryborough and surrounds are serviced by V/Line, regional Victoria’s train and coach operator. There are daily train services in each direction between Melbourne and Maryborough, via Ballarat, Creswick, Clunes, and Talbot. A V/Line coach service also links with trains to and from Melbourne via Castlemaine. Many other towns in the area are serviced by V/ Line coach services.
