• Canoeing and Kayaking

Experienced canoers can set their own pace on any of the Loddon Valley’s picturesque waterways, from the Loddon River in the south to the Boort Wetlands in the north. For everyone else, there are no excuses not to try a spot of peaceful paddling, with the launch of three self-guided canoe trails, the Serpentine Creek Canoe Trail, Laanecoorie Canoe Trail, and Loddon River Canoe Trail.

The calm and quiet waters of the Serpentine Creek, the Loddon River, Kow Swamp and other lakes and wetlands throughout the Loddon Valley provide the ideal environment to enjoy and explore from the vantage point of a canoe.

When visiting the region please read the updated Victorian Roadmap here. We would like to remind all visitors to be respectful to all businesses they are visiting and be patient if being asked to check vaccination status.
