Go for a swim at Bridgewater on Loddon's natural infinity pool

Go for a paddle in Northern Loddon

Cool off with a canoe down at Little Lake Boort or Serpentine Creek Canoe Trail in Durham Ox.

Canoeing on Little Lake Boort in Victoria, Australia, is a serene experience. Surrounded by lush greenery and abundant birdlife, the calm waters provide the perfect setting for a leisurely paddle. 

The five-kilometre Serpentine Creek Canoe Trail features six bright yellow buoys at points of interest along the creek, such as large scarred trees and ring trees. The trail shares historical and ecological stories and a fantastic view of this area's diverse birdlife - Birds of prey are seen soaring overhead, and smaller species dart in and out of the water reeds.

Stroll by the river

Laanecoorie River Trail is a picturesque 2.4km loop track suitable for both walkers and cyclists. The trail takes you on a journey along the tranquil banks of the Loddon River, where you can admire the area's beauty. As you go along the trail, you'll be surrounded by the lush greenery of yellow gum trees that form beautiful canopies overhead, and you'll pass a magnificent bottle-trunked Kurrajong tree.

Go for a bike ride around Little Lake Boort

Cycling around the Loddon Valley is a fantastic way to explore the area. A popular cycling trail in the Loddon Valley is the Little Lake Boort trail -  a 3.7k loop around the stunning blue lake.

The trail offers a fantastic opportunity to witness the area's natural beauty up close. You'll be treated to breathtaking views of the stunning lake and the surrounding scenery, including Big Lake Boort. As you journey through the trail, you'll encounter various native wildlife and impressive sculptures. The Little Lake Boort trail is a great way to spend a day with friends or family.
