Robyn Holtham

Robyn trained as a Gold and Silversmith in the School of Art at RMIT and has been making wearable art for most of her life until recently, when a worsening spinal condition made this too difficult. Her jewellery pieces are held in both public and private collections here in Australia, as well as overseas. In 2003, she moved to the Flinders Ranges in South Australia where she established a successful cafe and gallery showcasing her own work and that of other artists. In 2011, Robyn sold her business and moved south of Adelaide close to the coast and the Onkaparinga River. During the Covid lockdowns, she discovered an on-line painting group run by Sydney Artist Gabbi Lancaster. Robyn then began to explore various different techniques painting in acrylics, first on paper and then canvas. Having always been inspired by the natural world, its beauty and its fragility, regardless of medium, Robyn is now finding new inspiration in the Loddon environment. Robyn and her partner Corrie, moved to Inglewood in 2022 and are gradually becoming established in the Loddon Shire, where they have chosen to retire.
Venue: Eucalyptus Distillery Museum, 20 Grant Street, Inglewood.
