Yung Balug Keeping Place

The Keeping Place is Boort collector, Paul Haw’s museum of Yung Balung clan artefacts, which he keeps in trust. His experience as a serviceman in Vietnam led to him looking closely at the history of his own place, determined to learn more about the original inhabitants. His Keeping Place is constantly expanding, to house the collection entrusted to him by many people in the district. For Arts Trail, Paul and Cathie Haw will exhibit the early photographs of John Hunter Kerr whose 32 remaining images are some of the earliest documents of the Indigenous people of Central Victoria.
