A local showcase of machinery that worked the land and the townships of Maldon and Castlemaine and that pioneered the way we live today. 

Open Wednesdays 11am - 3pm and Saturdays 11am - 4pm.
Also open every second Sunday 10am - 4pm - Maldon Market day.

Located on the site of the historic Great Western Cymru gold mine, The Maldon Vintage Machinery and Museum houses all manner of agricultural machinery, from crosscut saws and artefacts to all sorts of engines, ploughs, harrows, sheep equipment and hay equipment.There’s Aunty Jack, a 9 horsepower Marshall engine and town favourite, an 1877 steam driven engine.The fire shed houses Maldon’s first fire engine and memorabilia. With uniforms from different eras and styles of fire fighting. Then there is the Tarrangower Times newspaper printing press, and the old town weighbridge and office.

Entry is FREE into the museum although donations are always welcome.
