Get involved in the Castlemaine Agricultural Show's 170th Year Celebration!
Friday Night – 1 November 2024 - 5:30pm - 11pm
- The 170th Anniversary Show will open at 5.00pm on 1st November 2024 with special guests and CFA attendance also celebrating 170 years.
- The Street Parade will go through the town at 6.30 pm and enter Camp Reserve.
- The Wood Chop events start 6.30pm on Friday
- Black snakes animal display Friday evening and Fireworks by Tony Slattery sponsored by our Show Committee at 10.00pm
- Food vans galore, ice cream, BBQ, Indian, donuts, fairy floss and dagwood dogs. coffee and refreshments. Showbag stalls. A huge variety to purchase.
- All the fun side shows we can’t wait.
- The pavilion displays Fleeces, sponsored by Brandt machinery. They will also attend the parade and have a wonderful display and give aways and gifts for the children.
- The Cooking section is free entry to the cooking section donated by Don Smallgoods (George Western food. Castlemaine) also special prizes. Plus, ribbons.
- The Children’s Art, Craft, Cooking and Horticulture special prizes donated by the Castlemaine Enterprise.
- Special Awards and prizes for Horticulture section as well.
SATURDAY 2 November 2024 - 9:30am - 3pm
- The Show fun continues with Horse events, sheep, pavilion displays, fleece, cooking, craft
- Special Pet Show sponsored by Pet Cloud and stewarded by MAAW of Castlemaine.
- Jirrahlingga Wildlife education centre will also take part on Saturday!
- Lots of fun, food, rides, and sideshows.
