• Mount Egbert (the granites)

Mount Egbert, or as locals call it, the Granites, is a hidden gem in the Wychitella Nature Conservation Reserve.
The reserve is covered in massive boulders and diverse wildlife, with stunning views of the surrounding area. The Granites is home to some impressive rock formations with panoramic views of the surrounding Wychitella Nature Conservation Reserve and area. It's a great place to picnic while soaking up the views. 

At night time, pack your picnic rug or camping chair and prepare to see some spectacular night skies with the flat plains of the surrounding area offering uninterrupted views from above.

Wildlife
The Granites is also home to a wide variety of wildlife. You're likely to see a diverse range of birdlife, kangaroos and wallabies. You might even spot a wedge-tail eagle flying overhead if you're lucky.

How to Get There

Facilities 
No toilets or water are available at Mount Egbert. Public restrooms can be located in Wedderburn at the Travellers Rest Stop and Loddon Visitor Information Centre.
