A series of 1-day community workshops exploring what it means to ‘just be you’ in the world today, presented by Deborah Hansen and Martin Gladman.
How many times have we heard people say ‘Just be yourself!’ as if it’s the easiest thing in the world to do? Often when it comes to ‘being ourselves’ it can bring up a lot – fear of being judged, rejected, dismissed or even in some cases, potential for violence or abuse. Learning to build one’s true inner resilience, strength and knowing of what it means to ‘just be you’ needs not be an arduous task, but something we can deepen and build within ourselves, both individually and together, by learning what it means to ‘just be’.
This series of community workshops will explore what it means to be ourselves – with ourselves, in our relationships, in our families and in our work, covering the four main areas of life. Presented by Bendigo locals Martin Gladman, social worker, counsellor, writer, musician, performer, events coordinator and all round deeply loving guy and Deborah Hansen, a successful business owner, foster parent, counsellor in training and all round bundle of wisdom and joy, these workshops are sure to be insightful, fun, engaging and deeply reconnecting.
