Overview

Fibre showcases the diverse artistic expressions of First Nations artists from the Greater Bendigo region.

These artists blend traditional and non-traditional techniques, including cordage, coiling, traditional and random weaving, and the storing and dyeing of plant fibres, to create unique, fibre-art pieces.

The exhibition features an array of woven objects, recycled materials, possum skins, baskets, and wall hangings. Djaa Djuwima is open every day, except Christmas Day.
