Bendigo Uncorked Week is an entire week of wine and food events held in Bendigo’s grand gold rush buildings. 
Crafted as a boutique experience for those who enjoy everything wine and food, this week offers exciting events to indulge your senses.

Escapades during the week include incredible wine dinners, a wine and cheese pairing night, a wine-themed movie, Wine vs Beer degustation and wine on a vintage Bendigo tram.
The week concludes with the ever-popular Bendigo Heritage Uncorked on Saturday 12th October.

Bendigo Heritage Uncorked
Bendigo Heritage Uncorked is a wine and food event with a difference. It’s a moving, yes moving – like walking, feast of the Bendigo region.
Your ticket is a special opportunity to taste more than 40 wines of the Bendigo region, matched with a specially-designed tasting dish by local chefs while strolling between seven grand heritage buildings in Central Bendigo. 
It is an event with a relaxing pace, allowing you to stroll from one venue to the next when you're ready to discover more Bendigo wines, local food and the historical buildings that make the city so recognisable.
Each ticket includes complimentary wine tastings, seven tasting dishes, souvenir tasting glass, carry bag and live music.

Wine vs Beer
Let the battle begin! Bendigo Winegrowers Association, Bendigo Beer and the team at Gallery Café are collaborating for one of those nights you wish would never end.
Hosted in the Sculpture Gallery inside the Bendigo Art Gallery, WINE vs BEER 2019 presents a degustation menu with each course carefully matched with a wine and craft beer.

Drinks Tram
Celebrate with your family, friends and colleagues in true Bendigo style!
Take in the sights of Bendigo at twilight on board a vintage tram as you unwind with some Bendigo wine, music and great company.
Local wineries GilGraves and Newbridge Wines will have a selection of red and white wines, and rosé available for purchase, as well as softdrink. No BYO.
Small bags of chips, nuts and pretzels are also available for purchase on board, or bring along your own food.

Dinner with the Vines
Owners of Mandurang Valley Wines, Wes and Pam Vine, are hosting a wine and food dinner at their picturesque cellar door. It’s an evening full of fun and perfectly paired foods and wine selections. The dinner is a great way to learn about wine from Wes and Pam and enjoy the company of friends.

Wine-themed movie night
Sandhurst Ridge Wines is hosting a wine-themed movie night on Tuesday 8th October.
Enjoy a wine-themed movie over a glass of Sandhurst Ridge wine at Star Cinema, preceded by tastings of Sandhurst Ridge wines. Doors open and Sandhurst Ridge wine tastings from 6.30pm, with the movie starting at 7pm.
No cost for the wine tasting. Purchase movie tickets on the night at Star Cinema.

GilGraves wines at Hop Supply Co.
Immerse yourself in this collaboration between three local Bendigo businesses. Sample GilGraves wine together with tasting plates from Clogs, in the craft beverage centre of Bendigo - The Hop Supply Co.
GilGraves will have their 2018 releases for tasting, including their rosé, shiraz/malbec and Spanish varietal sangiovese. It's a casual night of wine tasting and food sampling, with no cost to attend. Prebook your spot because places are limited.

Burnt Acre Vineyard teams up with Calendar Cheese
Burnt Acre Vineyard will be presenting a selection of their wines matched up to glorious cheeses by Master Cheese expert David Herbert. What David doesn’t know about cheese isn’t worth knowing. Burnt Acre winemaker Cliff Stubbs and David will host the evening with entertaining stories and insights into their passion. A main-course bowl of delicious Italian pasta follows the wine & cheese pairing.
The setting in a beautiful historic dining room will be revealed upon booking.

Balgownie Estate Heritage Dinner

Discover the history of Bendigo’s oldest working winery with displays of past wine making machinery and footage of yesteryear as we showcase 50 years of operation. Enjoy a 3-course dinner menu specially curated by Head Chef, Travis Rodwell showcasing traditional cooking techniques in a menu inspired by heritage breeds and heirloom vegetables. Guest will enjoy shared plates of, ‘Everything Wagyu’ slow roasted rump, Yapunyah meadow grazed chicken, a pork tasting board and a selection of decadent classic desserts for the final course.

This event will be held at Balgownie Estate, 46 Hermitage Rd, Maiden Gully.
