A four day event of Blues and Roots performances and workshops throughout Bendigo. There will be over 140 acts at 50 venues over four days.
The annual festival gives music fans the opportunity to enjoy world-class music, with a focus on local and independent talent from the blues and roots genres. The centrepiece of the program will be an all-day, free-entry, family-friendly concert featuring over a dozen great acts in Bendigo’s Rosalind Park on Saturday.
There will also be extra Blues Tram, pop up laneway parties, concert at the state of the art theatre - Ulumbarra and more.
The brainchild of renowned Bendigo musician and promoter Colin Thompson, the Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival enjoyed it’s inaugural appearance in November 2011, and after successful festivals in 2012 - 17. The Festival offers events year round with great music at local venues, including the Blues Tram - a moving music experience not to be missed.
