Our award-winning, family-run boutique winery is a true reflection of our passion for winemaking, heritage, and sharing breathtaking vineyard views. Nestled on more than 69 acres of thriving vines, Sanguine Estate is home to a diverse range of handcrafted wines—each one brought to life by our talented winemaker and son, Mark Hunter, who has earned an impressive 72 trophies to date.

From our elegantly silky yet full bodied Shiraz and Cabernets to vibrant and smooth Rosé, Sparkling Rosé, Chardonnay, Verdejo, Nebbiolo, Lagrein, and Tempranillo, every wine tells a story of place and family.

And for something truly special, don’t miss our most distinctive wine—D’Orsa Blanc. Exclusive to Sanguine Estate, this rare variety is deeply rooted in our family’s winemaking history and carries with it an extraordinary story that might just give you goosebumps.

At the TOP 5 RED star Halliday Wine Companion rated winery with a gorgeous landscaped terrace, stunning cellar door and spectacular views, you’ll be greeted by one of our amazing staff or family to enjoy tastings of our current release and highly awarded wines. Some wines sell out quickly so if you have a favourite you would like to try, it is best to call beforehand to ensure it is on tasting.

Beyond the vineyard, we celebrate our craft with a series of immersive events throughout the year. From the multi-sensory experience of the Sanguine Estate Music Festival, to educational Cheese and Wine Matching classes as part of Heathcote on Show each June, and in Melbourne, our fun and educational Shiraz Blending Sessions and elegant Annual Family Dinner, there are many ways to experience the warmth, flavour, and story of Sanguine Estate.
