Kept secure for many years for Defence purposes, the Villa will once again allow the public in to tour this magnificent home.
One of Australia's wealthiest mining magnates, George Lansell made his wealth from the New Chum reef and built his mansion on the top of it.
2024 HIGH TEA & TOURS
Be welcomed by our harpist as you enter the beautiful Fortuna Villa. Traditional High Tea is served with a selection of delicious cakes, scones, sandwiches and savoury treats. Enjoy High Tea with Harriet Teas, a Barista Veneziano Coffee or a glass of champagne, beer or wine.
Then join us for a roaming tour of the Villa and finish off with a wander around the lake.
Duration approximately 2.5 hours. Please ensure you arrive on time to allow you to fully enjoy the experience.

Adult - $115
Pensioners - $100 please select concession ticket type.

Please note that, though the property is fully restored there is no disabled access. The tour will include stairs and uneven surfaces.

Cancellation Policy
No refunds are available.
If you notify the Bendigo Visitor Centre of a cancellation more than 7 days prior to your tour date an alternative tour can be arranged subject to availability. Please advise if vegetarian or gluten free dietary requirements is needed at time of booking. Strictly no other dietary requirements can be accommodated.
