Murals, Sculptures & Activations

You don’t have to go far to see why this area is a hub of creative spaces.

Pennyweight Walk is an open-air gallery of changing collaborations from local artists.

At each end of Bath Lane stand sculptures, a film reel and Hamlet’s Bath, paying tribute to the laneway’s history and once home to public baths, the Lyric Theatre and a local pig market.

Large scale murals include Jack Fran’s Girl with Wattle tipping her hat, First Nations mural The Cultural Flower, and Laity Lane’s Flying Man and Daisy Leg’s Geometric Shapes.

A short walk through to Oscar’s Walk along Bendigo Creek and you’ll find I Am Djaara, at an impressive 9.6 metres and illuminated at night as part of the Djaara Lights precinct that comes to life each night.
