DAY 1 - Mid-Morning

Alternatively, you can explore the granite outcrops and lookouts at your own pace.

On your way to Bendigo, stop by The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion, the largest Buddhist stupa outside Asia. Wander the tranquil grounds, spin the prayer wheels, explore the Peace Park and admire the striking architecture. Don’t miss a visit to the beautiful Jade Buddha inside the stupa before continuing.

Dinner & Evening

Dine somewhere truly memorable inside of one of Bendigo’s beautifully repurposed, heritage listed buildings. Former gold rush era banks now house standout restaurants such as Alium Dining, Bunja Thai and Terrae, where history and flavour come together.

Take in the city at night as you view Djaara Lights and the illuminated Bendigo sign after dark. Continue the evening with a drink in a laneway bar or a hidden beer garden.
