With a diverse and changing landscape throughout the region, some of our cellar doors have incredible views that are worth bragging about. Plus, their wine is pretty awesome too! Be sure to take your camera, chill out and enjoy the views. Our top picks…

• McIvor Estate – located at the southern end of the Heathcote Wine Region, the vineyard is nestled within the Great Dividing Ranges with dramatic scenery of large ashen boulders and majestic rolling hills.
• Peregrine Ridge – with elevated views 250+ metres above sea level on the Mt Camel Range, and floor to ceiling windows, you will find some of the most incredible views as far as the eye can see.
• Sanguine Estate Wines – on the outskirts of Heathcote you’ll find rolling hills of endless vines and beautiful views of Mt Ida in the backdrop. 
• Sutton Grange Winery – a little slice of paradise at the foothills of Mt Alexander with gorgeous rural views of their vineyard and beyond.
• Vin du Van Estate – their cellar door overlooks their picturesque vineyard planted in the flood plain of Sheepwash Creek, with views of the neighbouring Mandurang Valley and is surrounded by native gardens and water features.

Meet & Greet Resident Wine Dogs

This one is just a little bit cute and definitely worth a highlight. But wherever wine is made, you’re likely to find a dog wandering through the vineyard, snoozing in the sun, ready to greet you at a cellar and loyally by their winemaker’s side. Wine & Dine

We love to wine and dine at our favourite cellar doors on sunny afternoon with family and friends, and the options throughout the region are growing. Lunch menus are available at Balgownie Estate, Mandurang Valley Wines, The Shiraz Republic and Vin du Van Estate. If you’re chasing a tasting or antipasto platters, or a charcuterie board, Ellis Wines, Heathcote Winery, Killiecrankie Wines, Silver Spoon Estate and Vinea Marson. Yum!  

Or treat yourself to breakfast, lunch or dinner at Wine Bank on View in Bendigo's popular arts precinct. Housed in the heritage-listed and former Union Bank, not only can you enjoy a beautiful dining experience, but you'll have access to the most extensive range of regional Victorian wines.
