Step into a night-time dream world where colour, light and sound collide. Electric Wonderland transforms Rosalind Park into a glowing playground of interactive magic. Bendigo Art Gallery Holiday Program

1st – 10th July
Dive into a world of creativity with hands-on art adventures led by the Bendigo Art Gallery Learn team with illumination artist Laura Jade, and kinetic artist Alex Sanson at the Discovery Science and Technology Centre.
Kids can light up their imaginations by building artworks with simple circuits, designing dazzling constellations, and bringing LEGO® creations to life with movement, animation and crafty fun.

Little Explorers Day at The Great Stupa

Little Explorers Day at The Great Stupa is a perfect adventure for young kids aged 3 – 8. They can enjoy a guided journey through the Peace Park, completing fun challenges, exploring nature, and creating their own binoculars and name tag as they work towards becoming official 'Stupa Explorers'. Families can relax with a delicious Explorer Lunch from the StupaView Café, plus there's a free coffee for mum or dad.

Make your way to Central Deborah Gold Mine and grab a gold pan, or head underground to see if you can uncover some hidden treasure. Feel like a real miner as you work the drills, search for gold – just like the miners did back in the day. Open every day, this is one adventure you don’t want to miss.

And while you’re at it, hop aboard a Vintage Tram and take a ride through Bendigo’s golden history. Keep an eye out for the Yarn Bomb Tram, a cosy local favourite in the winter months.
