Help shape the future of tourism for the Bendigo region

Bendigo Regional Tourism together with Australian tourism strategists, The Tourism Collective, are currently working on the development of an updated Destination Management Plan (DMP) for the Bendigo Region, and aligned Local Area Action Plans (LAAPs) for the City of Greater Bendigo, Mount Alexander, Loddon and Central Goldfields Shire Councils.

The role of a DMP is to unite all tourism stakeholders, including the community, under a collaborative vision for the future of tourism, and to uncover the strategic opportunities that support the attainment of that vision.

In the first stage of the development of the DMP, we invite all residents, businesses, community groups, students and regional stakeholders to complete a visioning survey, to share your perspectives and aspirations for tourism in the region.
