We are opened 7 days a week, every day of the year including public holidays. We are only closed Christmas Day.
General admission and current exhibitions are free.
Is the Bendigo Art Gallery open to the general public?
We are now opened to the public 7 days a week, 10am - 5pm including all public holidays except for Christmas day. We are adhering to the guidelines issued by the Victorian Government.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status
Visitors do not currently need to provide verification of their vaccination status to enter the Gallery.
What measures are being put in place to keep staff and customers safe?
Entry is restricted and physical distancing requirements are in place for all visitors and staff.
Increased hygiene measures include additional cleaning of high-touch surfaces and hand sanitiser is available for visitors as they enter. Additional staff throughout the Gallery are in place to ensure visitors are observing social distancing and to help manage visitor movement through the gallery spaces.
If you are unwell or in a high-risk category please consider your need to visit, your well-being is our priority!
Do I need to wear a mask?
Currently, masks are not required to be worn in the Gallery.
