This photograph shows a single male figure centred against a plain, dark background. He is athletic, dark-skinned, and facing forward with his hands held strongly together at waist height in a deliberate stance. He is almost naked but wearing a sculptural woven item which wraps around the upper body and flares with feathers at the hips. It is rope-like, woven made of bright red material by the artist Grace Lillian Lee.
