Artist statement

Archaeology illuminates human behaviour: themes within my paper collages and drawings are the expression of archaeological landscapes, their aesthetics, inferred meanings and the use of puns on the human condition. 

Artist bio

Between 2014 to 2019 I had been working as a field archaeologist and research assistant and archaeological illustrator on an early Bronze Age archaeological site in Cyprus: called Politiko-Troulia. These experiences informed and influenced my present art practice leading to an aesthetic experimentation with the mediums of paper.
