Be inspired by the city famed as the global centre of fashion and style and join milliner extraordinaire Louise Macdonald for a hands-on workshop inspired by Paris: Impressions of Life 1880 – 1925.
In this two-hour session, participants will learn how to create an elegant ribbon halo headpiece that can be taken home at the end of the workshop.
This workshop is designed for adults and young people aged 16 and up. No prior millinery experience is necessary.

Louise Macdonald
Louise Macdonald is a milliner with over 30 years of experience. Her hats have found homes in prestigious collections like the National Gallery of Victoria and have featured in BBC costume dramas House of Elliot Page and Pride and Prejudice. Louise's creations have graced heads in the UK, Dubai, and Australia, including a fruitful collaboration with Hugo Boss Melbourne. She honed her craft in London and as a teacher, has shared her expertise globally, from the UK to America. In 2021, she earned her rightful place in the Millinery Association of Australia's Hall of Fame. Louise's millinery artistry is characterized by movement and delicate femininity, and impeccable quality and finish.
