This program will enable Visual Communication Design students in Units 1 & 3 to address outcomes related to Design Industry Practice (Unit 3) and Visual Communications in Context (Unit 1). Students will hear a presentation by Isobel Knowles, Animator, who has worked collaboratively with visual artist Josh Muir to create the content for the exhibition What’s on your mind? Students are invited to visit the exhibition What’s on your mind? at Bendigo Art Gallery to explore the Augmented Reality component using Ipads and visit other exhibitions in the rest of the gallery to complete a worksheet related to Visual Communication Design design elements and principles. A worksheet will be created to enable students to use the material in their SACs and Outcomes.

About the presenter, Isobel Knowles
Isobel Knowles is a Melbourne based award-winning artist and animator. Her multidisciplinary practice spans short film, interactive installation, cross-platform performance, music, painting, photography and illustration.
