Join central Victorian artist Rob McHaffie and curator Emma Busowsky for a free floor talk inside the current exhibition Rob McHaffie: We are family. Rob and Emma will share insights into the process of working closely to develop this major exhibition. Rob’s largest exhibition to date, it includes a suite of major new paintings exhibited for the first time in Bendigo. Bringing together recent and new painting, ceramics, drawing and collage, this exhibition highlights Rob’s drawing-led creative practice and offers a glimpse into his studio.

Rob will highlight how through observation and imagination, he reflects on contemporary Australian urban life with colour, whimsy and humour. Drawing on everyday inspiration from his family and local community, Rob transforms small moments into profound observations about human relationships and our connections with each other.
