|Bendigo Art Gallery, 42 View Street, Bendigo VIC 3550|
Taking inspiration from artists Bessie Davidson and Sally Smart in the current exhibition, Bessie Davidson & Sally Smart – Two artists and the Parisian avant-garde, local artist/creator Libby Noblet has created a series of workshops exploring approaches to creating monoprints, collages, interior and still life drawings at home.
“These past weeks and in some upcoming weeks, Bendigo Art Gallery had scheduled me to teach mono printing, collage and screen printing workshops. As we are all at home, it was generously suggested the workshops be presented online instead. Hopefully, encouraging people to draw and create using the immediate surrounds as inspiration. It has been a pleasure recreating these workshop at home and documenting the process, replicating how I intended to run the workshops to be delivered.”
Please feel free to post us your outcomes to share with the Bendigo Art Gallery community. We would love to see them, just like in a workshop scenario. Tag us on Facebook and Instagram with @BendigoArtGallery or send it to us on email -- firstname.lastname@example.org
