Dr Michael J Leach, Winter Waves, 1 July 2020
Michael is a poet, epidemiologist, and lecturer at Monash University, Bendigo. His poems reside in such journals as Cordite Poetry Review and the Medical Journal of Australia.
This poem was inspired by news of Melbourne's second wave of COVID-19.
Kathryn Harrison, The Importance of Blankets, 2 July 2020
Kheong Sen Lim, Split, 2 July 2020
I have been back in Bendigo since the lockdown began and have been spending this time taking pictures of family and random things. This is my attempt at still life photography and it’s a work in progress as I experiment more with different viewpoints, lighting and textures.
Kerry Punton, Rabbit (cobalt oxide onto White glaze), 25 June 2020
Michelle Loschiavo, Cluttering of galahs (acrylic and airbrush), 1 July 2020
I love pink and wanted to do something pink.
So what do you do?
Galahs.

Claire Clarke, Sock Puppets, 3 July 2020
Paul Harrington, Girl at Yoga, 3 July 2020
Gillian Fallon, Busy-body cat!, 3 July 2020
Hiding behind the laptop screen is nothing compared to a cat walking across your keyboard at a crucial moment.
Angela Morrissey, David Richard McComb, 4 July 2020
This is an artwork I did of the late David McComb, lead singer of The Triffids who passed away in 1999 aged 36. I have used liquid brush markers and have painted the face and hands blue like Picasso’s Blue Period of art. The hair and shirt are complimentary colours.
Des Lowry, Archway, Arles (watercolour), 5 July 2020
Benjamin Evans, Peaceful Roar, 24 June 2020
I called this painting Peaceful Roar because it depicts the gentle yet powerful roar of water streaming down and showing that it is a peaceful paradise governed by mother nature.
Milton Long, Pendant with jade bead drop, 3 July 2020
I have been unable to complete any pieces for the last few weeks due to minor hand surgery. This one, just completed, is an enamel cloisonné pendant with jade bead drop on a commercial chain. The design was inspired by some large green fronds seen in a cafe.
Andre Sardone, Ball of energy, 5 July 2020
Another exploration using steel balls from a rock mill and steel rod.
When this sculpture is touched it sets off a long lasting vibration through the piece.
Jin Turpie, Calf, 5 July 2020
This is one of the cute calves I got to hand feed at Matty's Farm.
Dell Winser, Mr Branwell Cubbins, Esq. & Ingonyama, 3 July 2020
I’ve been taking advantage of having a bit more free-time and completing a few of the kits I’ve had laying around for a while. As opposed to what usually happens to the things I craft, these two lovelies will be staying with me.
Jane Coburn, Still life (graphite on paper), 5 July 2020
I enjoyed the process of setting up the still-life, then taking photos to use as reference. The angles of the design on the backing cloth echo those of the broken china and egg-shells. I used a grey-scale photo while drawing to assist me with the tones.
Paul Casey, and the beat goes on (acrylic on canvas), 5 July 2020
Another version of the 1945 "A Calabrian worker's Sunday in Rome" also known as "Rocco with the gramophone" by Renato Guttuso.
Duffy - Ha Ho Art, Art for petrol heads, 6 July 2020
To celebrate the return of the Formula 1 race season & a new F1 inspired series of work..
