View Street Amplified will have you dancing in View Street from February to November, with upbeat indie and contemporary musicians performing 11am–3pm on The Capital’s front steps. This free event will be kicking off from Saturday 28 February, it will feature a mix of Victorian touring artists and local acts. The once‑a‑month program promises good vibes and a lively atmosphere for visitors exploring View Street.

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia and fueled by a love of real country music, come NO SLEEP TILL TEXAS. Paying homage to their own heroes, the likes of Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Doug Sahm, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson and Willie Nelson, this Melbourne outfit are throwbacks to when country music was exactly that. Combined with a swag of their own songs written by their award winning frontman Rick Hart, they deliver an honest and bare bones brand of honky tonk and vintage country. No Sleep Till Texas are all about folks up and dancing and having a good time. If the dancefloor's full their hearts are full!
Joining them will be Bendigo based bluegrass musicians The Quarry Hillbililes and up and coming contemporary pop/folk singer Ellie Sylvia.

As highlighted by Rolling Stone AU/NZ, Queen of Hearts is the first all-female mariachi ensemble in Australia, praised for redefining tradition through a bold, multicultural lens. Following the 2025
release of their acclaimed second studio album, Divina—a collection of original songs celebrating
Latin American roots and sisterhood—the band continues to push creative boundaries. In December 2025, they recorded a new EP at the iconic Frying Pan Studios within MONA in Hobart.
This upcoming release captures their signature fusion of folk, jazz, and rock, showcasing the group’s fearless storytelling and deep creative chemistry.
Joining them will be Bendigo's enchanting and honest folk singer Mariah McCarthy with her Trio and up and coming contemporary soul/funk singer and guitarist Kalo Davies.
