Located on historic View Street, the Capital was originally built as the Sandhurst Masonic Hall. It boasts a grand entry with towering Corinthian columns and an interior that has been restored to its original grandeur.
The Capital has six elegant spaces suited for your conference, dinner, workshop, meeting, function or expo:

Capital Theatre
The 480-seat first-floor Capital Theatre is a magnificent auditorium with Victorian plaster-work and tied seating. It has a modern stage with a full lighting rig and audio system.
Bendigo Bank Theatre
Also located on the ground floor, this space offers a versatile auditorium. This unique heritage space has a leadlight lantern ceiling and was the original 1873 lodge room of the Freemasons. The room has two stage areas that are ideal for intimate music performances. It is popular for wedding ceremonies and receptions, cocktail parties and dinners, and is easily rearranged to suit corporate events, meetings and seminars.
These heritage spaces with their ornate plasterwork, decorative stained glass and magnificent ceilings are all equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment. They lead onto graceful foyer spaces serviced by kitchen and bar facilities.
Banquet Room
This elegant ground-floor space is suited to larger group dinners, meetings, wedding receptions, awards nights, presentations or trade-show displays. It can be configured for performances, banquets, for cocktail functions or in a classroom or boardroom layout
