To enter: 

  1. Complete this application form by Monday 5 May 2025
  2. Submit your entry for judging
    • Short Film, Literature and Performing Arts entries must be received by Monday 5 May
    • Visual Arts entries must be delivered to Dudley House, 60 View Street, Bendigo on Tuesday 3 June

 

Guidelines

Awards are open to young people (25 years and under on June 5, 2025) living, studying or working primarily in the City of Greater Bendigo. 

You may enter more than one category, but you can submit only one entry per category.

The awards will be judged by arts professionals and their decision is final – no correspondence will be entered into.

You must follow all guidelines. With around 100 entries each year, these guidelines are necessary to fairly present and judge all the work received.

Work that does not meet the guidelines may not be included in the judging or presentation.

RAW is first and foremost a celebration of youth art and imagination and the prizes awarded should be seen as a part of this celebration. Criteria for selection is included in the category guidelines, and we ask all participants to remember that the judges’ decision is subjective and does not enhance or diminish the inherent quality of the art and the artists.

City of Greater Bendigo staff, family members of Bendigo Venues & Events staff, and any staff involved in judging may present work (in the exhibition, showcase, and book) but are not eligible for prizes.
