A visual journey around our homegrown land. A nod to the traveling spirit within and the moments and stories collected along the way. 

Get lost, find yourself, get lost again. 

An exploration of the language of paint - colour, texture and different brushstrokes. She works intuitively directly on the canvas, with gestural mark making and layers built upon layers, each piece an individual journey. Familiar themes of shapes, linework and repetition are abstracted and weaved into her paintings. Her work is a balance of careful consideration and playfulness.

Elise Hogan is an artist who lives and works in Bendigo, Victoria. Elise holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design and Diploma of Education specialising in Primary and Secondary Arts from La Trobe University. Whilst raising her two young sons she works in the studio completing commissions and series of works.

Exhibition is open during Box Office Hours (Mon-Fri 10am to 5pm) and prior to performances in the venue.
