"Pop Goes The Easel" is an exhibition that offers a unique perspective on the intersection of pop culture and contemporary art through the eyes of a dynamic group of Bendigo creatives including, Dale Harris, Nachos Station, Mr Dimples, Ha Ho Art (Chris Duffy) Bridie Margret O’Toole, Rhayven Jane & Cody Dewit Hayes. This exhibition aims to showcase the power of the easel as a medium for creative expression, taking viewers on a captivating journey through the vibrant and ever-evolving world of popular culture.

Blurring the lines between fine art and mass culture, this exhibition explores & indeed celebrates the democratization of art, as artists embrace and recontextualize imagery and symbols that permeate our daily lives. From bold graphic cartoon-like paintings to intricate mixed-media creations “Pop Goes The Easel" offers something for art enthusiasts of all backgrounds. It encourages viewers to question the boundaries of art, inviting them to engage with the cultural artifacts and icons that shape our collective consciousness.
