Fibre showcases the diverse artistic expressions of First Nations artists from the City of Greater Bendigo region. These artists blend traditional and non-traditional techniques, including cordage, coiling, traditional and random weaving, and the storing and dyeing of plant fibres, to create unique fibre art pieces. The exhibition features an array of woven objects, recycled materials, possum skins, baskets, and wall hangings.
Djaa Djuwima is open every day, except Christmas Day.
All artwork in Fibre is the property of the artist who holds copyright. If you're interested in any of this work get in touch [email protected] and we can help you connect to the artist.
