PERFORMANCE CANCELLED, TICKETHOLDERS WILL BE CONTACTED
It is with great regret that ICEHOUSE announces that, due to Victoria’s current Covid-19 restrictions on gatherings, the performance at Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre, scheduled for next Thursday June 24th will have to be cancelled.
The most recent announcements from the Victorian Government severely limit the number of patrons who can attend a venue and these mean that it isn’t possible for the previously Sold Out event to take place.
As ICEHOUSE has no touring plans at present where another date could be set, the band and promoter, Regional Touring, reluctantly agreed today to cancel the performance and refund ticketholders.
Everyone involved is saddened by having to do so and apologise for any inconvenience caused to the band’s fans and supporters as well as the technical and other staff who are affected.
ICEHOUSE looks forward to a time when the band can get back to perform in Bendigo.
ICEHOUSE was formed by Iva Davies and is one of those bands who have managed to transcend age groups with a career spanning 40 years.
Generations of music lovers have been brought up with hits such as Crazy, Electric Blue, We Can Get Together, Great Southern Land, Hey Little Girl and Man Of Colours to name a few.
ICEHOUSE has sold over three million albums locally, more than nine million internationally have achieved 28 platinum album sales in Australasia. The band has had eight Top 10 albums and more than 30 Top 40 singles.
ICEHOUSE and Iva Davies have won many awards including the Countdown Award for the Most Popular Male Performer and ARIA Awards for the Best Album and Highest Selling Album for Man of Colours.
The band was inducted in the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006. In June 2013 Iva was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for ‘significant service to the music and entertainment industry’ as a songwriter and performer, and to the community.
One of Australia’s greatest live acts, ICEHOUSE is set to present a show not to be missed on 24 June.
VIP Inclusions: Premium seating and a signed poster.
The Venue: Ulumbarra Theatre
Meaning ‘gather together’ or ‘meeting place’ in the language of the local Dja Dja Wurrung people, Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre rises majestically from what was once the Sandhurst Gaol.More about Ulumbarra Theatre
