BIG news!!

Everybody loves the award-winning book 'The Rainbow Fish' with its wonderful message of friendship and belonging. We invite you to come and witness the magical, colourful world of the Coral Reef come to life on stage as Bendigo Special Developmental School presents 'The Rainbow Fish Musical'. The Whole School is involved in this production, and every classroom will be presenting a short musical / dance item to compliment the telling of the story.

Our main cast consists of a charming school of fish and sea-creature characters who admire the infamous Rainbow Fish, the most beautiful fish in the entire ocean. When Rainbow Fish refuses to share her vibrant, shimmering scales with Little Fish, the whole ocean seems to turn against her. Unhappy that no one adores her anymore, Rainbow Fish seeks advice from the slightly kooky Starfish. The starfish direct her to venture out into the deep dark waters to seek the wisdom of the Wise Old Octopus. He helps Rainbow Fish learn that it’s far better to be admired for being kind, than for being beautiful.

Join us at the Ulumbarra Theatre on Wednesday the 6th of November for a memorable underwater adventure starring each and every student at Bendigo Special Developmental School.

Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Show starts at 7.00 pm.
