Join us for an unforgettable night of Djaara music at the Our Country, Our People concert, part of the inaugural Malamiya Mang Arts Festival. Immerse yourself in the powerful sounds of Djaara musicians DRMNGNOW, YAMBRA, and special guest artists, as they bring contemporary expressions of ancient culture to life.
This incredible event, is more than a concert; it’s a celebration of connection to Country and community. The evening will begin with a special Opening Ceremony featuring the Djaara Dance Group, setting the stage for a night of song, dance, and celebration.
Taking place at the historic Capital Theatre in Bendigo on Friday, 1 November, the concert kicks off at 7:30pm, following the ceremony at 6pm. Tickets are essential—don’t miss this chance to experience the rich cultural tapestry of Djaara art and music.
Malamiya Mang Arts Festival runs from 31 October to 2 November, celebrating the deep connection between Dja Dja Wurrung Country and People, from ancient times to the present.
