Kennington Primary School presents our school production of Pirates of the Curry Bean.

Deadeye Dinghy opens the story with the legend of the mysterious pirate Captain Swaggersword, who disappeared long ago after hiding a priceless treasure. At the Squirty Squid Tavern in Old London Town, the Periwinkle family—Pearl, her twins Jack and Liza, and their cat Fiddlesticks—find themselves caught up in the adventure when the bumbling pirate Redbeard steals a treasure map and accidentally kidnaps Pearl.

Determined to rescue their mum, Jack and Liza set sail aboard The Crunchy Frog with Captain Cod, Admiral Hornhonker, and an eccentric crew. After a hilarious pirate battle, a shipwreck leaves everyone stranded on the mysterious island of Lumbago, where mischievous monkeys, colourful islanders, and long-lost secrets await. As the hunt for Captain Swaggersword's treasure reaches its exciting conclusion, surprising family discoveries, unlikely heroes, and plenty of laughs prove that courage, teamwork, and a touch of pirate spirit can change everything.

Packed with catchy songs, comedy, adventure, and swashbuckling fun, Pirates of the Curry Bean is a heartwarming musical for the whole family.
