The Enchanted Flute is a series of flute recitals by emerging artist Katie Kim showcasing over the past few centuries’ popular flute repertoires.
In this afternoon Soiree, Katie will be joined by Merlyn Quaife AM, Australia’s most sought-after Soprano and Cheryl Long, pianist. These three musicians from all walks of lives found each other in Bendigo. This rare collaboration will give birth to some interesting programs to be presented to audiences of Bendigo. Be excited, be ready to be spellbound as they present carefully handpicked works designed to capture beauties of natural sonorities imagined by some of most creative minds of the 20thcentury.
Programs include works of ‘Joueurs de flute’, Op. 27 & ‘Deux poems du Ronsard’, Op. 26 Albert Roussel, Suite de Trois Morceaux Op. 11 by Benjamin Godard.
