Bendigo Venues & Events has partnered with the City’s Community Partnerships unit to co-produce a concert for young people on Sunday October 25 at 4pm.  Named Dragon City Sounds the event will showcase local and regional performers, as well as young people sharing thoughts on mental health and wellbeing at this time.  We are extremely fortunate to have secured some incredible talent from our local community for this event, including 2020 Indigenous Performer of the Year, Baker Boy.  This will also be a free performance screened on the Bendigo Venues & Events YouTube channel and is expected to be shared across Australia and the globe.
We will have more news next week, in relation to more innovative programs and activity for October and the remainder of this year.  While it seems clear we may not be in a position to host large-scale indoor events in 2020, Bendigo Venues & Events continues to evolve its arts offering to deliver enriching and entertaining performance experiences to our community.

The concert will be available to view on our YouTube channel on Sunday October 25 at 4pm
