The Culture Hitch Wedding Expo is designed to feel like a really easy, enjoyable starting point for couples who are planning their wedding. Instead of a big, overwhelming event, it’s a relaxed, boutique-style expo where you can meet some of the incredible wedding vendors we have right here in Bendigo and the surrounding regions, all in one space.
The idea behind it is simple - planning your wedding is so much easier when you can meet people in person, have real conversations, and get a feel for who you connect with. We’ve created an environment where couples can walk through at their own pace, gather ideas, ask questions, and start building their A-team that genuinely feels right for them.
The Expo is held throughout the foyer spaces at Ulumbarra Theatre, with live music, beautiful styling, and a really warm, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll meet photographers, celebrants, florists, musicians, stylists and more - all local vendors who are passionate about what they do and excited to be part of your day.
More than anything, it’s about showing couples just how much amazing talent exists locally, and helping you feel inspired and confident as you start planning your wedding.

The Venue: Ulumbarra Theatre
Meaning ‘gather together’ or ‘meeting place’ in the language of the local Dja Dja Wurrung people, Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre rises majestically from what was once the Sandhurst Gaol.
