Cosi

Step into a world where chaos, comedy and heart collide in Così, coming to The Engine Room, Bendigo, this September. Presented by Possum Park Productions — fresh from the sell out success of The Vicar of Dibley — this delightful production promises an unforgettable night of laughter and warmth.

Set in a Melbourne mental institution in 1971, Così follows Lewis, a young and inexperienced director tasked with staging Mozart’s opera Così fan tutte with a cast of eccentric patients. What unfolds is a brilliantly funny and deeply human story, as rehearsals unravel into hilarious chaos, personalities clash, and unexpected friendships take centre stage. Bursting with sharp wit and quirky characters, this much-loved Australian play explores big ideas about love, loyalty and what it really means to be “normal” — all through the lens of clever, engaging comedy.

Performed in the intimate surrounds of The Engine Room, this production draws you right into the action. Whether you’re a theatre regular or simply looking for a fantastic night out, Così delivers the perfect blend of laughter and heart.

Don’t miss your chance to experience Possum Park Productions’ next hit.
