Cosentino is Australia’s most successful magician, illusionist and escape artist. He has been recognised as “the most dominant figure currently in Australian entertainment” and now Cosentino is quickly becoming a giant on the world stage.
 
A true entertainment trailblazer, Cosentino was the first Australian magician to have his own TV shows. He has written, produced & starred in 9 (nine) highly successful prime-time specials, which have now been broadcast in over 40 countries and seen by over 500 million people. The Today Show said “Cosentino has single handedly revolutionised the art of magic in Australia, making it one of the hottest genres in primetime”.
 
Cosentino has appeared on every major television show and media outlet across Australia making him a household name and one of country’s most recognisable entertainers. Newscorp stated “Cosentino is the most successful entertainer to emerge from reality television in Australia”.
 
Cosentino's award-winning live touring shows have been staged to rave reviews and full houses in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Macau and across South East Asia. His productions are amongst the most powerful, riveting and sought after in the entertainment industry today. 
 
Cosentino has won multiple Merlin Awards, which are the highest accolades in the magic industry and are presented by the International Magician's Society in New York. Previous winners include David Copperfield, Criss Angel and Penn & Teller. Cosentino has been awarded the Merlin Award acknowledging him as both the ‘International Magician of the Year’ and the ‘International Escape Artist of the Year’.
 
Other acknowledgements include The Levante Award which was presented by the Australian Magic Forum to recognise Cosentino’s incredible achievements in Australia and overseas and The Brand Laureate Award, presented to Cosentino in Malaysia to recognise his admirable contribution to the world of Illusion.
 


Cosentino was the runner up on Australia’s Got Talent in 2011, the winner of Dancing With The Stars Australia in 2013 and had a starring role in the Jackie Chan film ‘Bleeding Steel’, which debuted #1 at the Chinese box office.
 
After struggling with learning and reading difficulties as a child, Cosentino has now become a successful author. His autobiography ‘Anything is Possible’ is on the official ‘best sellers’ list and has been released in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and right across Asia. Cosentino has also created an animated book series called ‘The Mysterious World of Cosentino’ which is targeted at 8 - 12yr olds. The four book series has been released globally to critical acclaim.

The Venue: Ulumbarra Theatre

 

Meaning ‘gather together’ or ‘meeting place’ in the language of the local Dja Dja Wurrung people, Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre rises majestically from what was once the Sandhurst Gaol.

Terms and Conditions

  1. This event is sold on behalf of the organisation responsible for presenting this event and is subject to the conditions applicable to that event and/or the venue where held.
  2. All sales are final. There is no refund or exchange on tickets except as provided for under the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.
  3. The right is reserved to vary advertised programmes and to add, withdraw or substitute artists as necessary.
  4. The management reserves the right to refuse admission.
  5. Latecomers may not be admitted until there is a convenient break in the performance.
  6. The use of cameras or other recording devise and equipment constitutes a breach of copyright and is strictly forbidden.
  7. Patrons must ensure all electronic devices are switched off or to silent throughout the performance.
  8. Persons bearing a concession ticket must carry proof of entitlement.
  9. G.S.T. included where applicable.

COVID-19 Ticket Exchanges and Refunds 
Bendigo Venues & Events have temporarily amended our Ticketing Terms and Conditions to ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff.
  1. Patrons must not attend an event if any of the following apply on the day of the event:
    • They have any symptoms of COVID-19 
    • They (or a member of their household) are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test 
    • They have been directed by public health authorities to quarantine or self-isolate 
  2. If patron(s) are unable to attend an event due to the reasons above, they will be entitled to a refund or exchange of their ticket(s). 
    • The ticket purchaser must contact the Box Office, within 24 hours of the event, in writing via boxoffice@bendigo.vic.gov.au or our Contact Us page with the relevant details to arrange a refund or exchange.
  3. Patrons will be entitled to a refund or exchange if an event is cancelled or rescheduled due to Government COVID-19 regulations or restrictions. 
  4. When attending an event, patrons must comply with all directions of staff and COVID safe principles as outlined on our COVID Safe page
    • Management and staff reserve the right to refuse entry or evict a patron who is not complying with directions or COVID safe principles.

From time to time we may partner with ticketing agents with an allocation of tickets being made available for sale via the Promoter, Ticketek or Ticketmaster (excluding Ticketmaster Resale).
Please be aware that we have no obligation to honour tickets purchased via unauthorised re-sellers. If you attend one of our Events with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised re-seller such as Ticketmaster Resale, Viagogo, Ticketbis, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia or otherwise, you may be refused entry to the Event.
