Overview

On 24 August 2019, Central Victorian Womens Choir performing as Women of Note will host a choral spectacular. Local choirs will join choirs from across Victoria for a dazzling day of workshops and performances.

There will be concerts throughout the day at both St Paul’s Cathedral and Ulumbarra Theatre, along with workshops for all singers at Ulumbarra Theatre.

We are excited to announce that the choirs performing include Bendigo Chamber Choir, Bendigo Chorale, Bendigo Youth Choir, Exaudi, Gisborne Singers, Grace Note Singers, Kerang Music Society Choir, Melbourne Women’s Choir, Soufflé Sisters, Southern Voices, Women of Note and Young Voices of Melbourne.

The day will conclude with a Gala Concert on Saturday evening at Ulumbarra Theatre.

Production

Women of Note is the performing name of The Central Victorian Women's Choir Inc. Under the talented and generous direction of Laura Dusseljee, the choir has grown from strength to strength and has developed a reputation for performance excellence. They sing an eclectic range of songs - contemporary, pop, show tunes, gospel, sacred and classical.

  1. This event is sold on behalf of the organisation responsible for presenting this event and is subject to the conditions applicable to that event and/or the venue where held.
  2. All sales are final. There is no refund or exchange on tickets except as provided for under the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.
  3. The right is reserved to vary advertised programmes and to add, withdraw or substitute artists as necessary.
  4. The management reserves the right to refuse admission.
  5. Latecomers may not be admitted until there is a convenient break in the performance.
  6. The use of cameras or other recording devise and equipment constitutes a breach of copyright and is strictly forbidden.
  7. Patrons must ensure all electronic devices are switched off or to silent throughout the performance.
  8. Persons bearing a concession ticket must carry proof of entitlement.
  9. G.S.T. included where applicable.
