Dancer / Choreographer
Choreography is the art of designing sequences of movements. The Choreographer has a thorough knowledge of dance steps, styles and routines and is responsible for the design and direction of the routines used in dances and performances. Endowed with leadership, creativity and discipline - the choreographer creates the artistic vision expressed through dance.
With a unique name, an even zanier personality, piercing green eyes and high kicks that could knock her unconscious, Skylar Delphinus’ earliest memory of dance is at the age of three skipping around a giant sunflower holding a red watering can.
Skylar studied at the Australian Dance Performance Institute - graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance. She has worked with Queensland Youth Ballet and Ballet Theatre of Queensland and after moving to Melbourne, became part of La Rouge Burlesque trio, adding another style to her repertoire.
Skylar has worked commercially in China and India and enjoyed an artist residency developing new work at Arteles in Finland; Skylar is a member of both Lionheart Dance Company and Scimm practising and performing contemporary dance; teaches movement and acting at the Riverina Drama Camp and brings dance programs to LOTE schools in Melbourne and regionally; while teaching a variety of classes at private dance institutions.
Skylar’s professional credits include various Australian music videos, The Sugar Film (Madmen), Brenda in Hairspray for Harvest Rain Theatre Company and touring and hosting live children’s stage shows for Nickelodeon and the ABC.

This event is sold on behalf of the organisation responsible for presenting this event and is subject to the conditions applicable to that event and/or the venue where held.
All sales are final. There is no refund or exchange on tickets except as provided for under the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.
The right is reserved to vary advertised programmes and to add, withdraw or substitute artists as necessary.
The management reserves the right to refuse admission.
Latecomers may not be admitted until there is a convenient break in the performance.
The use of cameras or other recording devise and equipment constitutes a breach of copyright and is strictly forbidden.
Patrons must ensure all electronic devices are switched off or to silent throughout the performance.
Persons bearing a concession ticket must carry proof of entitlement.
