Celebrating 45 years since Joel’s signature song – “Piano Man”, the show is backed by an five piece band and features live performances of his greatest hits including “Piano Man”, “Uptown Girl”, “For The Longest Time”, “Just The Way You Are”, “My Life”, “We Didn’t Start The Fire”, to name a few complete with visual footage and narration that takes you in to the depths of the life that is Billy Joel.
Piano Man was the first single of Billy Joel’s. Released on November 2 1973, it was his first major hit peaking at #25 on the US Billboard Charts and #20 on the ARIA Singles Chart and in 2016, was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry for its “cultural, historic, or artistic significance.”
The show features Anthony Mara who is a world class and seasoned Billy Joel performer who’s performed in every nook and cranny of this Country for over twenty years and cites Billy Joel as one of his true influences in life.
Following a sell-out Australian Theatre Tour in 2017, PIANO MAN Billy Joel Tribute Concert will rise to another level in 2018 taking the show back to major Capital Cities as well as Regional town’s right across Australia.
